This has proved to be a simple way to prevent the cats from doing major damage to my couches. I had to replace a previous set due to our four cats' incessant need to claw at something to sharpen their nails. I was not going to let that happen to my new furniture set, so I ordered this, mostly because they did not require any sort of push pins to secure them to the couches. I like that because a product meant to protect your furniture should not also do damage itself in the installation. I can recommend these as a sound way to avoid such problems in the future.

So my roommate and I just got a cat and she loves to scratch my one chair. We taped the corners and she just kept scratching. These work really well and she has given up trying to scratch the chair. I was a little hesitant about these working but they work and I am so happy that I tried them.

The furniture protector works as advertised. Im able to cut custom sizes that stick on my sofa very easily. This is a great way to keep my furry friend from terrorizing my expensive furniture. The protector is sticky on both sides. Cats do not enjoy the stickiness on there paws so not only does it protect furniture, it is also a deterrent from trying again later. Im very happy with my purchase. and would recommend this to anyone.
